What We Believe
The Bible, the living inerrant Word of God, is the sole authority for faith and practice.
There are three persons in the God Head: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Holy Trinity).
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Jesus died to save us from sin, and we are saved through faith. When we believe in Jesus Christ we are born again, and the Holy Spirit takes residence in us.
Once we are saved, we are always saved.
Believers’ baptism by immersion is a symbol of death to the old way of life and resurrection to a new life in Christ.
Holy Communion is a memorial of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and is open to all who are saved.
Each local church is an independent sovereign body, governing itself by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The absolute individual freedom to respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all circumstances is fundamental to our faith (freedom of conscience).
Jesus is the only mediator between God and us. We pray directly to God through Jesus Christ (priesthood of all believers).
Jesus is coming again suddenly, literally, and visually.
Witness to Jesus Christ is the ongoing task of every believer.
