Our service begins promptly at 10:00 am. Most people arrive 10-15 minutes prior to service to socialize and find seating.
We do not have a dress code. At FBCS, you will find a variety of dress styles. There are many people who like to dress up and there are many who like to be more casual in their dress. You will see nice suits all the way to jeans. So, we would encourage you to dress as you are used to in other churches or whatever makes you comfortable.
Our service begins at 10:00 am. Our purpose is to create an atmosphere where people can experience God’s grace, love, and redeeming power for a broken humanity. We typically gather and participate in a time of praise and worship, united in singing together. We spend time in the scripture, praying for others, providing announcements, and celebrating the mission of Christ locally and globally. These elements of our service are then followed by the sermon from our Senior Pastor or on occasion, one of our pastoral staff.
On the second and fourth Sunday of every month, we have Children’s Church for ages 4 to 12 years old and 13 to 17 years old. They will learn bible stories and engage in activities and crafts. Additionally, the youth teen choir leads worship service on the fifth Sunday of every month when our youth and youth teen choirs sing.
You can join FBCS by profession of faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior or by transfer of membership from another church. We have a New Members Class, which teaches the fundamentals of the Christian faith; as well as our doctrinal and missional beliefs.
